Understanding requirements, Expert delivery: Pillar Data Systems develops Application-Aware Storage systems for midsize and enterprise organizations. Although Pillar Data Systems had an existing website, our business needs required us to develop a site on a CMS platform to manage our growing business. This resulted in a complex set of requirements for the proposed site. A three phase approach was established. The first phase was to push the sales cycle to the web. The second phase was automate internal processes by linking our products and lead nurturing systems to the web database and creating dynamic SEO friendly pages. This posed some challenges in database development, layout, and logic.
After some preliminary discussion, Multidots was chosen to develop our website. Although Pillar Data Systems provided Multidots with a good deal of guidance, we were continuously impressed with the close working relationship, access to Multidots team members, their ability to quickly understand what we were trying to accomplish and the expertise of the Multidots team in the key areas of database development, coding, and wordpress CMS development. Multidots comprehended and incorporated many features that were not discussed but required for future development.
Our website is central to our business success and is considered to be a work in progress. Prashanta dot Com is delighted with the work Anil and Aslam have done with their “A” team in Ahmedabad, India. For the record the whole site was designed, developed and delivered in about seven working days – working off a lot of “talking” on Skype. This was their first Silverstripe site project for Multidots.India Horizonz combines the creative talents of New Zealand (we are the Lord of the Rings country !) with the “value for money” technical prowess of India, through its unique relationship with Multidots, to develop serious websites and web applications for clients around the world, exclusively on Open Source platform such as Silverstripe, WordPress, Joomla, Drupal and Custom PHP.
Majamba received funding from SPECo in April 2011 and the started work on development. The team at Majamba realized that in order to build the platform a new model of web development was required. This is because of the distributed nature of the work. The design & the conceptual part is in Switzerland and partnerships for Majamba had to be created in different countries as well as members were signing up in different countries.
Majamba needed a web development company that could work as a partner and provide feedback on multiple development scenarios and then do ahead and do the development and further fix the bugs at lightening speed. That is exactly what the Multidots team has done over the past 21 months. The delivery team takes personal responsibility in solving challenges.
